The shape of the charity sector
The following graphs use the most recent Charity Commission data to show the what the charity sector looks like. The first graph is a count of charities based on their last reported annual income; the second graph shows the combined income of charities based on their income.
Charities that have an income of less than £100 are excluded from this data. There are 19,075 charities that have no income, and a further 4,294 charities with an income of less than £100.
